Hornor System

The Honor Committee is an organization run by midshipmen. The primary aim of the Honor Committee’s activities is to have midshipmen observe the honor code. The members of the Honor Committee are selected by each class and they gather and discuss when a student violates the honor code. After the discussion‚ the Honor Committee decides what penalty should be given to the student and the actions that have to be taken by discipline officers. Midshipmen‚ but not discipline officers or professors‚ have the responsibility to defend their honor.
