Academy Precepts

The Republic of Korea Naval Academy, which has grown to be one of the best educational institutions in Korea through its outstanding faculty and educational environment, is dedicated to producing leaders who will lead the Korean Navy in the Globalized World

The midshipmen are trained to be knowledgable, respectful, and physically and spiritually strong. Achieving these ends occurs through studying their majors as well as military sciences. Physical training is also required for them in order to be a competent and confident naval officer. Above all, responsibility and honor as a commander and patriotic and military spirit are most emphasized at the Academy.

As the fate of Korea depends on our maritime power, the Naval Academy is doing its best to produce the best naval officers, representing all of the character traits mentioned above.
