Officer Training Battalion was built on December 1988. Used to train and educate OCS and pre-midshipmen, it includes lecture halls, dormitory rooms, and a dining facility. At the entrance of the building, a statue of Lieutenant Junior Grade Im Byeong-rae stands to meet the trainees. LTJG Im was a great contributor to the success of an operation for Incheon landings. One day before the operation when the North Korea force attacked, he rescued his fellow soldiers and committed a suicide to keep the security for the operation. To praise his warrior spirit, the statue was built on May 2011 by the donation of the OCS association.
